It's not you Ernie. Doug is the reason that no one posts here any more.

Why post when you get slagged for it rather than discussing the issue?

The reason I stopped posting here long ago.

Good luck on making this a forum for discussion. You have my sympathies if you wish to try.

Geez, did my last post scare everyone?
Not to pay attention to Ronald Weinland, he's just another of many wealthy preachers, another con-artist who very successfully lives off the most vulnerable

Jesus is coming back
Well that's what another self appointed Prophet predicts for May 27 2012.
We all remember Herbert W Armstrong of the World Tomorrow (Church of God); his successor Ronald Weinland, claiming to be the last Prophet predicts May 27 2012 to be the day of Jesus'return to Earth in his glory.
He also claims anyone who does NOT believe him will die of cancer wooohaaaa
another insult to human intelligence

Is this forum still alive? Here's a topic well worth discussing. The new proposed manditory payment of WSIB from "Self employed" independant operators. A good percentage of us HAVE our own accident / disability insurance through the various private insurance providers that is far more superior with incentives that WSIB cannot possibly offer. But, in their vast knowledge of ignorance, the WSIB regards us operators as being responsible for the "underground economy". I am offended by their remarks and conclusions. My business is small, "above board" and just as safety conscientious as the bigger businesses. Like unemployment insurance. I could pay into it, but, would never be entitled to benefits simply for being self employed. I accept that. BUT, why am I now subjected to paying into TWO insurance providers for an injury when we all know that WSIB needs to be tuned up by lawyers for the present injured workers who have been paying into the program for years. Let's hear some feedback folks. Oh yeah, keep your union thoughts out of this. Not everyone can afford union rates. Hell, I've had unionized people asking for renovations on their own homes for a "Cash Job" price. So what does that tell ya?

So Davy Boy, you think that was responsible and reliable reporting? People like you who a accept this type of reporting are irresponsible buffoons who do the community no good.

David (Brantford,ON), 28 days ago

Well, Doug, you finally did it and ruined this forum with your buffoonery. No one posts here anymore. Congratulations!

Wow, such a headache from reading a paper with nothing in it. In 19 lines, including the headline "Three dead in Alta roadside murder-suicide" there are first 3 dead, then 4 people dead, then three. But wait, now its a woman and three men. Oh my gosh, then its 2 men and a woman dead. So was there 3 dead, or was there a half dozen different murder sites with dozens in total dead. I think there a few positions at QMI Agency that should be dead. How can this ever get to print.

Re "my compliments to the expositor". Thanking the expositor for something is like thanking your captors for putting sprinkles on your single donut, 1 meal a day ration.

My compliments to the Expositor on the live discussion with the mayor on Tuesday evening. I was even surprised that you would post some tough questions (one from me) that he handled quite well.

Hope to have more like this.

Interesting display yesterday at the corner of West/Brant Ave. & Dalhousie. A man was walking around with a poster which read " CBC , Not For Sale". Personally, it should be sold. Lately, they cannot cram enough commercials in a 3 - 5 minute time slot. Before one is completely played through, another carps right in. If I was a corporate advertiser paying for a FULL 20 second advertisement, it wouldn't take too much time to pull the contract. There have been some that have not even had the full completion with pertinent information cut right off near the end. Sell the CBC . OH YEAH!!!!!!!
